As of October 31, 2022, no units shall have aluminum branch wiring and/or Zinsco or Federal Pacific Electric Stab-Loc breaker panel. Zinsco breaker panels were part of the original construction of most, if not all, units. Many units have upgraded over the years, but not all. This is a fire hazard, and having them will impact insurance for property owners and the Association.
Cross Wired Electrical has agreed to charge $1,800 for any owner in our HOA who needs to upgrade their unit breaker panel. You can email email@example.com or call (863) 899-0044 to get things set up.
You do not have to use Cross Wired Electrical but must use a licensed electrician/company. The job does require a permit. Proof of compliance is required. Please email the proof to our property manager Lindsey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The HOA is also upgrading the master meter on each building. Below is the plan, which we may update as the need arises.
